IP address geo information is maintained by your ISP through ARIN. Here's an article that explains it a little better. https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-address-geolocation-incorrect/ and https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-whois-lookup/

Are you using a VPN? It might be the reason why your IP address location is in Canada.

Nope. It shows my real IP and location in most site, but some like squareup and 1 or 2 others show canada. Your site show the correct info as Plano TX. I cleared every cookie and all other things I can think of. It's the same in Firefox or chrome

The IP geo tool the sites are using is probably out of date. If it’s preventing you from getting services from theses sites, you can contact them and explain. We’ve found most to be very cooperative in situations like this.
