Using my iphone to find my home network????

Hi all. I am so brand new to networking and finding my way around so
Please dumb your answers if any at all
So my fairly standard home network with two home cameras( nanny cams). I would like to find out my ip address i guess from my iphone broswer to locate my home network to access the cameras live and see whats going on in my house. Is something like this possible?
Thanks my home pc is a mac if that is at all is any needed info!

What you want is definitly possible.

You would subscribe to a dynamic DNS service. The assign you a domain name to go to with your browser. They also give you software to run on your network that communicates with their servers to update the DNS as your IP changes.

There are some routers that have a selection of DNS services built in and many Domain Name Registrars provide the DNS service if you buy a domain Name from them. DNSexit is the Registrar that I use for Domains with dynamic IP addresses. $12.95 per year for the Domain Name and the Dynamic DNS service is free. You pick the name you want, pay them and they do the rest.
