Spoof IP

snowman asked 3 years ago

At the university I went to (virginia tech), they had online databases that checked to make sure your ip was coming from the university's ip. Now that I'm not on the university's campus anymore, is there a way to make this site think I'm on the school's internet?

Thanks for your time,

I believe if you're using VPN (Virtual Private Network) to connect to the school, you'll be recognized as a local machine, even although you're using a tunnel to get inside the school.

alright thanks... vpn is only an option for current students, as well as the proxy server.

Is there software out there that can make the site think I'm on campus by means of entering in some random ip that would be one of virginia tech's?

thanks again
