Port Forwarding SA-MP server.

Elsarty asked 2 years ago

Hello all,

As you see in the title, I need help, in port forwarding SAMP server. I'm using

And here what I do.

I go to my router page > Game & Application Sharing ( As there is no sa-mp in there in the games . ) > Create a new game or application ( Here, name: SA-MP. And Select how you want to define the new game or application: Manual Entry of Port Maps. As Clone Existing Game or Application dosen't have SA-MP. )
> Protocol: TCP > Port Range: 7777 to 7777 > Translate To ( Need help in this. I'll leave it, without any thing tell now. ) > Trigger Protocol: UDP > Trigger Port: 7777 ( I'm not sure. But, I'll make it 7777 now. ) > Add > Apply > Assign a game or application to a local network device > Game or Application : SA-MP > Device: Hmmm, I just do for every device, as I don't know wich is mine. > Log: Yes. ( Marked ) > Add. > I go to a site that checks if my server is on or not ( Won't say URl, as I think it isn't allowed. ) Before I open server.exe ( Needed ) > I check, it says it's off.... So, I may need help 😛

P.S: I'm not sure of any thing I've done 😀

Thanks for help!

Thanks for your question Elsarty.

It appears that you are setting Port Forwarding AND Port Triggering. You would usually only set Port Forwarding for a Server.

Here is a link to aid you in getting the SA-MP Server working.
