Network Design needed

arcm asked 3 years ago

I am a beginner. I need your help in designing the network. Below are the resources.

My Network: Wifi Router and 4 clients
My Friends Network: Wifi Router and 3 clients
2 External VPS

I wanted to make everything under the same network. How can I do? All these clients have internet access. Also I am thinking to have VPN hosted at one of the vpns and connect everything to it. Is that correct/

My final expectation is any client in the network should be able to connect to any other client. Also In future any client can be added/removed.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your question arcm.

To connect two locations so all computers are accessible by everyone, I would recommend a site to site VPN. The easiest way I know of to do that is by the use of Untangle. It will require a computer at each end to replace the existing routers. Activate the VPN server on one end and set the other up as a client.

Untangle is a complete router package based on the Linux OS but you do not need any knowledge of Linux to install or configure it. The Untangle Lite package is free and will do all you need at this point.
