I have installed my first IP camera!!! But as I watch the camera it the video goes blank for a few seconds then comes back. When I use one of the tools that came with the camera it comes up with an message "Cannot connect to server". I am thinking that I need to change a network setting on my router to not loose the connection. The video goes away about every 30 seconds. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do? :confused:

Are you experiencing the problem when accessing the camera over the Internet or within your own home network?
Is the camera connected to the network by cat5 or 6 ethernet cable or wirelessly?
What is the make and model of the camera?
