my computer is connected to company's local area network. Frequently i host web sites but domain name entry in defaultgate way is done by some one else. Many times there is confusion that particular host name is present in that default gateway or not.
So, is there any way through command prompt that i may from my local machine whether any host entry is present in defaultgate way or not ?

I don't think I understand what your asking.

For you to host a website, you would need to have access to the Router (Default Gateway) to establish the port forward.
