Hide My Flash

rocksan asked 2 years ago

I was playing around with Hide IP, it works (every IP is a known confirmed proxy, no secrets there). Anyway, I noticed that my real IP was displayed when I used speedtest.net. Does that have something to do with Flash and why?

Cheers

I suspect that it is more to do with JAVA then anything else. Their probably running a trace route or something similar in the speed test.

FYI: All of the hide yourself proxy solutions on the Internet only hide you from less determined websites and only from the ones that you visit. All of the Bots, Crawlers, Spiders and Hackers that are constantly probing IP addresses are still looking at your IP hundreds of times per day.
