Windows told me today that some one has my identical ip address. how can this happen? Is someone in my computer ? have I been hacked? what can I do?

Hi Don. There's a few scenarios here, but the least likely is that you've been hacked. It's most likely that a device on your network has been assigned a static IP and that same IP hasn't been reserved in your router (DHCP Server) and the router has attempted to assign the same IP to your computer.
