Find originating IP information

alltoohuman asked 2 years ago

I am so embarassed to even share this information with you but I am very desperate and I don't know where to turn.

I've been chatting online with this girl for the past 4 years, building our relationship with the intention to eventually meet. Recently I have started to doubt that she is real, and worse yet, that she is actually my ex-girlfriend tricking me!

Please help me discover the truth!!

My ex-gf's received/originating ip information is the following:

Received: from blu0-omc3-s34.blu0.hotmail.com ([65.55.116.109]) by BAY0-HMMC1-F2.Bay0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.4900);

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried tracing them myself but I can't seem to get it to work.

PLEASE HELP!!

The only thing that can be concluded from the two X-Originating-IP's it that they are both from the same ISP.

Having IP addresses that are seemingly close by number does not translate to them being close geographically. They could easily be hundreds of miles apart or they could be in the same building, there is no accurate way to tell from the IP address.
