Email Question

indynurse70 asked 3 years ago

Not sure if this question is in the right place but I'm hoping someone can help me with it.

My husband is receiving emails from a person he does not know. The emails are NOT addressed to his email address. They are addressed to another email address that isn't his. Make sense??

No where in the header is his email address. So my question is, how in the world are these emails landing in his email box?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If I send an email to someone and BCC you, you'll get the email but won't show up as a recipient.

AboveTheLogic gave you the answer. Most of the time, the TO address is fake as well.

If it's spam or malicious email, it's no accident, either.
