One of my netfriend was in Bellevoue, Washington (US) and was usign Verizon internet.. recently i got a mail from him that he is in Canada... but both emails (earleir one whne he was in US and new one from canada) were sent from same IP. Is it possible to have same IP across US and Canada.. Do we have Verizon roaming activated for internet in canada and our IP doent change. Please throw soem light. I think he is still in US only.
I have a blackberry through Verizon and if I use it to surf the net, pages show my location as Canada....but I'm in Tennessee, USA.
If your friend is using Verizon DSL and still shows a Canadian IP, my guess is they have a proxy set up in a Canadian data center and funnel traffic through that location.
